Yes, but it will need to be configured before rolling out to your staff.

Why can not all entity types be merged?

The ability to merge two records is reserved for the 'Account' and 'Contact' entities, provided by Microsoft. You cannot merge records of another entitiy type.

Is Event Management supported?

Event Management is in the roadmap. This will include integration with EventBrite.
